About this episode

This week on the HR Happy Hour Show, Steve was joined by Dickens Aubourg from Paycom. Today we have a great topic, the importance of HR Technology in helping to create a great, compelling employee experience at work, and more specifically, how this can help employees and organizations achieve their learning and upskilling and reskilling objectives – a topic we were talking about constantly before the COVID-19 situation, but one that has not diminished in importance despite the pandemic and its effects. Dickens shared how technology is evolving to support employees with more personalized, consumer grade experiences, and how better technology enables HR to focus on much higher value added activities like building culture and developing the next generation of leaders.

Additionally, we talked about the concept of making the other players around you better,  our favorite 90s hip hop artists, and even some NBA basketball as Dickens and I are both long suffering Knicks fans.

This was a really interesting show, thanks to Dickens for joining us! Learn more about Paycom at www.paycom.com.
